Recent Faculty Changes

New Director: Aaron J. Pond

Aaron is incredibly excited to join the remarkable faculty and students at the Salt Lake Valley Institute. He has 20 years’ of experience teaching in the Seminary and Institutes program, and he is currently finishing his doctoral degree in Educational Leadership, studying how to best train teachers to help students from disadvantaged backgrounds. He loves his gorgeous wife (Jennifer), his amazing children, rock climbing, Marvel movies, German food, really good books, and feeling the Spirit. More than anything else, he loves watching the Savior make a difference in the lives of others.
