The Salt Lake Valley Institute for Adapted Needs

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has provided Seminary and Institute classes for students since 1890. “Our purpose is to help youth and young adults deepen their conversion to Jesus Christ and His restored gospel, qualify for the blessings of the temple, and prepare themselves, their families, and others for eternal life with their Father in Heaven.”
Our program has been specifically created to make sure students (members of our faith or not) with adapted needs of any kind have the help they need to succeed and progress towards spiritual independence. Whether a student has a diagnosed special need or just prefers smaller class sizes they can feel welcome here. We have students of all levels and abilities who come seeking to grow closer to the Savior. We also arrange accommodations for students desiring to participate in a "mainstream" experience but needing some additional help to find success in that environment.
